Visual Studio .Net 2003 Final Beta, simple socket code breaks between 2002 and 2003
With Visual Studio .Net 2003 Final Beta, running under Windows 2000 the
following sample code will take an error on the following line:
Dim myStream As Stream = myWebClient.OpenRead(uristring)
With an error message of:
"An unhandled exception of type 'System.Net.Sockets.SocketException'
occurred in system.dll
Additional information: An operation on a socket could not be performed
because the system lacked sufficient buffer space or because a queue was
full"
The same code runs without any problem under Visual Studio .NET 2002 on the
same system.
Any ideas on what the problem is?
