Proxy Types?? Exposing the types of one assembly from another.

If you have a project [Assembly1] that references another project
[Assembly2] - is there a way to expose some of the [Type]'s within
[Assembly2] from [Assembly1]?

For instance if [Assembly2] had:

  Public Enum MyEnum
      Value1
      Value2
    End Enum

and [Assembly1] is referencing [Assembly2], and exposing methods that use
"MyEnum" as a prameter type.  How could any other assemblies referencing
[Assembly1] get access to "MyEnum" without also referencing [Assembly2]?

Perhaps some kind of "proxy" declaration within [Assembly1]?  Or am I
missing something fundamental here!?

Thanks anyone....

I think this should be impossible. You must have a defination for "MyEnum"
in the refereced assembly. Otherwise the end application can' define such a
object/

Cool.  Thanks for confirming that.
Still worth asking, though.  Referencing both assemblies isn't really a
hassle.

Cheers,
