vs 2002 or vs 2003 beta Nov 2002

Hi

I am to begin a new application and have a choice of either using vs 2002 or
vs 2003 (beta nov 2002). Which one is a better choice?

Thanks

John,
VS 2002 is a released product.

VS 2003 is a final beta.

What is the life span of your development. The best estimates I've seen in
these newsgroups are a March or April release of VS 2003.

I would not recommend using beta code for 'production' work, if the
development is well past the estimated release of VS 2003 (you know how
beta's can slip), then by all means go for VS2003 otherwise I would have to
suggest 2002.

NOTE: The March 2003 issue of MSDN Magazine has a number of articles on VS
2003 (.NET 1.1).

Hope this helps
Jay
