Wonder if this is possible with a script?

Create a script that looks at particular path (I can map a drive) and create
a group called that name hyphenated by a prefix I specify? NOTE: this could
involve anywhere from 40 to hundreds of groups.

Example, on my computer I have a mapped network drive to \\bob. The server
\\bob has a folder somewhere on it d:\vol2\data that has a number of
directories under data. I want to create a Win2k AD group for each folder in
the root of data. I also what the group name to be prefixed by ed-.
(example: sx-foldername).

It would also be able to run locally is that would help. It would also have
access to AD and local admin access. Needs to be Win2k AD domain aware as
this is where the groups would go.
