Thanks a lot for all of your input and research, Torgeir (and everyone else
as well). Using cabs instead of zips is a good idea, and thanks for
identifying the dll's ME/Win98 Plus! use for zipping; I may be able to do
something with those.

Ultimately we just forked over $65 for some shareware module (from
http://www.*-*-*.com/ ) that I've wrapped in a class...seems to work
great. I think I will experiment with the cab option and see if I can
download those ME dlls as well.
