I come from Javascript, and particularity CGI world... And I have a very simple question : VBScript can it do a SQL request to any database (MySQL,Oracle...?) without use any COM/DCOM,....????

Strictly speaking, No. You normally use ADO to access databases and ADO are COM objects.
