 Text-mode equivalent for Inputbox ?

I want to prompt users for input, but I don't want input boxes popping up, I
want the user prompted in a command prompt window to provide arguments.  Can
this be done?

Thanks

No way whatever you do younwill have to do it withing the confines of the browser
window , its the sandbox concept
However you can create a command prompt like control using DHTML ,particularly
You can use a DIV tag with its ContentEditable property set to true .
check out this link on how to use this

WScript.StdIn  (script must be run with cscript.exe, not wscript.exe)

WSH Documentation

Thanks - I'm still having trouble though - can you give me an example?
There is very little documentation on StdIn.

Never mind - I figured it out - thanks a lot!

?dim xx, yy
?wscript.echo "type something...then hit ENTER"
?set xx = wscript.stdin
?yy = xx.readline
?wscript.echo "You entered " & yy
