sfImpersonator and RegOBJ.dll
Hi,
I have two issues and help with either would be great.
1st) When I try and use sfImpersonator, using the sample
script that comes with the dll, the script runs and
returns the error "A required privilege is not held by the
client". I am the "domain administrator" so I cannot
understand what privilege I need for this to work
correctly? I have been searching the web for this answer,
but have found nothing so I am asking here for help.
2nd) I am using RegOBJ.dll to modify a key in
HKEY_Current_User and am having problems. I have used
regobj.dll many times to modify keys and values in
HKEY_Local_Machine and have never had a problem. The key
I am looking to mod under HKEY_Current_User is
\Printers\Connections and subkeys to this. It seems to
not work with these keys. I have tried other keys in
HKEY_Current_User, like \Software and it works fine. Am I
doing something wrong or is this not possible with the
regobj.dll.
What I am doing is we are getting ready to rename our
print server and to avoid having to have all the users
delete and recreate all their printer selections. I am
working on a script to go to each machine and change the
print server name, once the rename has occured.
Thanks,
Scott
