 "Back" upset by vbScript

I am using VBScript to add some animation to a page with the following code

set msgframe=Document.Frames(0).Document
MsgFrame.write "Hello world"
MsgFrame.close

This seems to register the page before and after writing "Hello world" and
so pressing the "Back" tool bar button simply restore the page to how it was
before the MsgFrame.write "Hello world"

Is there anyway to stop IE4 from thinking this is a new page?

Any help will be much appreciated

Best Regards
