Hi,

I'm looking for anyone that might have used ProtoView's InterAct 3.0
Diagramming Tool in web development.  We currently use it in VB applications
which are stricly client/server based.  We are begining the process to
web-enable the app which currently uses this control.  We are trying to
decide what are the pros and cons of using the control on the web (directly
adding it to the HTML or ASP page) or building our on ActiveX control in VB
that will use this control (of course one of the advantages of this is that
we can re-use a lot of our VB code in the OCX), but we still are looking at
all the pros and cons.

I've also looked for other comparable controls, java applets, etc - that
might provide some of the same functionality.

I've asked ProtoView's tech support if they know of any of their client's
that are currently using this is web development, but they are unaware of
any.

I've also done some research on the web and did find an article from
Microsoft Internet Developer (MIND) magazine which stated this control is
the one to use, and can easily be added to your web pages.  According to the
artilce, and to ProtoView Tech Support, no functionality is lost when used
on the web.

Any input is appreciated.

p.s.  I'm only concerned about this running in Internet Explorer 5. -- so
I'm not worried about any cross-browser issues.
