Manipilating Netscape to execute a EXE and not download it

Hi there,

I need some assistince in this issue.

If I execute a path/URL like file://server/dir/setup.exe by using IE, it
will actualy execute and install the application. I gather is is becase IE
uses WIndows's Association table. This is what I want to achieve - executing
a setup.exe via a browser... BUT

When using Netscape, it seems like it has it's own Association Table, and
that the default for a EXE, is to download it. When calling a URL like
file://server/dir/setup.exe , it will default do download the EXE, and not
execute it.

Is there any way in VBScript to tell the browser to execute this link, and
not download it.

Regards
