How to show the images stored in DB, such as SQL2000 or Access ? I don't
understand how to write <img src="..."> syntax.

I guess you'll need some script that extracts the image and puts it into
http stream of image/gif (or jpeg) content type, and write something like
<img src=script.asp?pID=...>

If your web page is in directory x, you can have a subdirectory of x called
images, and in your html say <img src="images/imagename.jpg"
width=mywidthinpixels height=myheightinpixels> and upload the imagename.jpg
file into x/images. The db would have a field simply telling you the path to
the image ie "images/imagename.jpg" or just "imagename.jpg" with "images/"
added in code

Depending on how you are building your Web pages maybe you could try;

picStore = new String(where_its_stored);

document.write ("<img src=" + Chr(34) + picStore + Chr(34) + " / >");

As I'd said before, it depends on how you are buil;ding your Web pages.

I'm getting a large grey square which I hope is not AOL or Microsoft trying to
f*ck about with Usenet which should always remain 7-bit ASCII.

I did not try to insert something non-standard in here and it was my posting !

There's one between the quotation marks in this line too !

It was originally ("less than" sign)  the source URL of your image is ("greater
than" sign)

Who the hell is doing this and leave those HTML tags as they are with no fancy
modifications ?

Richard.
