 Micheal, would you please help?

Would you please help me to solve my problem below or entitled: "Urgent!
Please help to fix my script."  I am really tired of trying the unworkable
method from M$'s SDK.

I simply embeded MS Media Player 7 on my web with the following code:
<object classid="clsid:6BF52A52-394A-11d3-B153-00C04F79FAA6"
                    id="mplayer" width="240" height="180" border="1">
         <PARAM NAME="AutoStart" VALUE="False">
</object>

and play a simple media file(clock.avi) with a button(but) onClick event :

<Script Language="VBScript">
Sub but_onClick()
   Dim mediaObj1, mediaObj2
'---- Stupid method to create media object-------
   mplayer.URL="clock.avi"
   Set mediaObj1=mplayer.currentmedia
   mplayer.currentplaylist.AppendItem(mediaObj1)
   mplayer.controls.play()
'---- Said normal method to creat media objec-----
   Set mediaObj2=mplayer.mediaCollection.add("clock.avi")
   mplayer.currentplaylist.AppendItem(mediaObj2)
   mplayer.controls.play()
End Sub
</Script>

The stupid method works but the normal method doesn't.(All these methods'
idea come from WMPlayer 7 SDK)
All lines are running OK except  " mplayer.mediaCollection.add("clock.avi")
" which gives the following error:
"Permission Denied"

Why? If it is a permission problem, how can it write to the playlist object
and play w/o error?
What I really want is to use proper method to add song files to
mediacollection obj and then to playlist obj.

Any help would be highly appreciated.  Thanks.

Ken

Hi

I have a simple demo for playing mp3's ( Beta )
http://www.icysoft.com/agentplayer.asp
( Custom interface )  uses MS-Agent as
narrator.

Needs Mediaplayer / MS-agent and since the player
is  streaming from mp3.com you will need a cookie
from them.
