 Hiding the menubar, toolbar, etc.?

Hi, is there a way for JScript scripts to hide these bars for the current
window?

There is a kludge to do something like it, but no, not after the window is open.

Since you opened the first window, you can have it's handle, and use that to close current, and open new with the same page.

...
handle.close():
handle=window.open("same.htm,"","toolbars=false, etc");
...
