 Help: decimal point and comma

Hi:

In one page I have input fields for double values. These values are passed
to a javascript function and this function passes these values to an java
applet.

Everything works OK IF Windows regional settings are point as decima
separator and comma as group symbol.

If someone from another country or using another language of Windows calls
this page the double values get screwed. If the users enters 50.5050 the
applet gets 5050.50. If the user enters 50,5050 the applet get 5050.50......

Is there a solution ?

Thanx

Fernando
