Screen resolution change, need a script???
Is there a script that I can make a shortcut to that will change display
settings to, say 640x480x256 colors, and then another one to change back to
800x600xtruecolor????? Our users in the school district have a need to
change occasionally due to old educational software, but we're standardized
pretty much on 800X600 otherwise. We use policies to keep folks out of
display settings changes and the control panel (I know, there's plenty of
reasons not to do so, but have your worked at a school district with
hundreds of kids???) , would like a shortcut or script. I've tried
quickres.exe but didn't like that you can change resolutions to weird ones
that won't work, and if you shut down it will stay with the incorrect
settings. Would like a script that I could make a shortcut to, and only make
the scripts that are appropriate for that particular machine's hardware, and
would also like the machine to always reboot in 800x600. Anybody got an
answer???? I need this for win95, 98, NT4, and 2000, but concentrating on
the 2000 right now....
Thanks in advance.
