 Put window inside window/frame

Hello,

Is it possible to put a window inside a frame? So, when the child
window is maximized, it expands itself only in the frame area. Its
just like MS Word, OpenOffice etc.

Any sugestions?

Thanks for the help.. Sorry for the bad English..

This is called "MDI" or "Multiple Document Interface". Most usability
experts agree this is a bad way to design an application. In spite of
that, many users still seem to request it. Go figure.

Regardless,  Tcl has no native support for such things but there are
packages you can download that might work for you. A discussion of this
is here: http://mini.net/tcl/mdi
