Expect - How to Send Function Keys

I am trying to use expect to drive a fortran program which uses the Function
Keys  F1-F5.  I was not able to find anything in "Exploring Expect" regarding the sending of specical keys.

I'm running on a Sun sparc 10 with Solaris 2.4

AnyHelp would be appreciated

I've never heard of a standard keycode sequence for function keys.
Run od and type one of the function keys, and see what it reports.

On HP-UX, from an NCD terminal:

Quote:
> od -c

[typed F1, return, ^D]
0000000 033   [   1   1   ~  \n
0000006

So in my case, I'd look for ESC[11~.  Maybe it's a vt100 thing.
