 Getting "Short" filenames inWindows

Hi Everyone,

Is there some simple way to get the short path name
from the long one in Windows.

os.path, dospath and ntpath files do not seem to
allow one to access the short name easily.

Thanks

This URL was found by searching for 'short filenames convert' in the
'Search the python newsgroups (using DejaNews)', which you will
