 PC-based Prolog with delays

Dear All,

A friend of mine would like to obtain a free (or very cheap)
PC-based Prolog. The key feature it should support is a delay
primitive which allows a goal to be suspended until a variable
becomes bound.

My friend is not a hacker so porting a UNIX-based Prolog to
DOS/Windows is not really an option.

Coding the delay feature using a meta-interpreter is a possibility
but would probably result in a system that was too slow for his
needs.

Can any one suggest a suitable system?

Hi,
IF/Prolog supports delays and constraint handling predicates
as prototyped in the CHIP system. It is available under UNIX and all MS-Windows
variants - one system for all. It is 32bit (or 64bit) and provides all you
could want, including good introductory manuals and support.
