How to compile GNU Prolog on Windows NT/2K/XP

Is there a how-to on compiling for this system.  There are a lot of
references to Win32 in the docs but no clear how-to.  The readme does
not have full insrturnctions.

Can anyone help please please oh please.

Thanks,

Paul

How to compile GNU Prolog on Windows NT/2K/XP
You need the CYGWIN package to compile GNU Prolog. So 1) install
CYGWIN and 2) select MSVC as compiler at ./configure using --with-msvc
Then when you call make cl is invoked (cl must be accessible in your
PATH,
a file vcvars32.bat is provided with MSVC for that).

Read the file src/CYGWIN and src/DEVELOPMENT for other information.

Good luck :-)
