setting a cookie after the header is written

I want to set a cookie after the header is written. Is there any
possibility? In other technologies (e. g. asp) you can buffer the
header so it is not sent before the whole document is rendered.

Thanks.

Look over the functions at:
http://www.php.net/manual/en/ref.outcontrol.php

Output buffering is covered.
