I have a small script that works correctly, but when I turn on -w,
File::Copy gives me a waring. Here is the call to copy:
#!/usr/bin/perl -w
use File::Copy;
open (NEWQUEUE, ">/home0/ttceng/radreports/queue.new");
{ print NEWQUEUE $requests; }
close (NEWQUEUE);
copy
("/home0/ttceng/radreports/queue.new","/home0/ttceng/radreports/queue");
unlink </home0/ttceng/radreports/queue.new>;
close ( NEWQUEUE );
close (QUEUE);
($username, $detailfile, $mailto)=split ' ',$request;
exec qq(nice /home0/ttceng/slow.pl $username $detailfile | mailx -s
"Time on for
$username" $mailto);
and here is the warning:
Use of uninitialized value at /usr/local/lib/perl5/File/Copy.pm line 84,
<QUEUE>
chunk 1.
Anyone have an idea why I am getting this warning? Thanks!
