ERROR compiling Perl5.003 on a AIX system 4.1.4

I'm getting quite desperate...

While compiling Perl5.003 on a AIX4.1.4. system I get the following
message:

... run Configure etc...

Now you must run a make.

... and that's it!

so, maybe someone can help me out with this one.

thanks.

Tom
