Net::SMTP can't locate 'new'
I'm trying to use Net::SMTP to send mail. I can copy the code from
the Net::SMTP perldoc into a small test program and (with
appropriate modifications) it runs fine. However, when I try to use
in the actual application, I get the following diagnostic:
Can't locate object method "new" via package "Net::SMPT" at <file><line>
where the invocation is:
my $smtp = Net::SMPT->new( $SMTPhost, Debug => 1 ) ||
die "Cannot connect to SMTP host $SMTPhost $!";
I am also using "Net::NNTP" and "use Mail::IMAPClient". Is there a
possibility that these are somehow interfering with each other?
This is on perl5 (5.0 patchlevel 5 subversion 2) on Solaris.
Any suggestions as to how to resolve this would be most
