 can't install CPAN.pm from CPAN.pm

I believe Term::ReadLine is having a problem here.  Good reason to
upgrade to version (v1.43).  It's updated in the Bundle.

You should have seen immediately after this a call to retrieve and
make or a note of the downloaded archive already existant in your
pan/build directory..  well, not really.  Version 1.43 is available
and later than your present version.

No upgrade took place so this step was useless..  sorry!  Something is
definitely missing, however.  Have you tried running it under the
de{*filter*}?  Something like `perl -d -MCPAN -e shell'.  It will give you
a warning that the termcap was defaulted to dumb but stepping or
jumping forward could reveal a problem.
