 Newbie - What modules reqd for basic NT commands

Perl newbie here,

I am trying to run Perl on NT to call basic commands like delete.

[Q] Is there a full Windows module kit or an individual Windows module
that will give these basic system command call capabilities?

Thanks,

John

Many things are built in to perl.

For delete (I assume you want to remove files)  consider 'unlink'.  Look
in 'perlfunc.pod'  for the documentation of many others.

(from perlfunc.pod...)

    Functions for filehandles, files, or directories
        `-*X'*, `chdir', `chmod', `chown', `chroot', `fcntl',
        `glob', `ioctl', `link', `lstat', `mkdir', `open',
        `opendir', `readlink', `rename', `rmdir', `stat', `symlink',
        `umask', `unlink', `utime'

(also from perlfunc.pod...)

=item unlink LIST
=item unlink

Deletes a list of files.  Returns the number of files successfully
deleted.

    $cnt = unlink 'a', 'b', 'c';

    unlink <*.bak>;
