Hello,

I would like to know if there is a PerlModule which containes routines to
check if a string is compatible to the 1397bytes limitation for a
WML-Ddocument (compiled). Please answer me asap.

Thank you and best regards,

Thomas

Try the length() function. To compile WML, use CGI::WML or whatever its
called (see the CPAN recent list).

CGI::WML contains a WBXML compiler, but be warned that it currently
lacks attribute tag string table support, so the resultant WBXML will
be slightly larger than some gateway compilers can squeeze the document.

String table support, among other things, will be in the next release.
