 Building Tkperl

When tkperl5a5 is linking to create, it comes up missing all
sorts of standard C libraries:

ld  -o ../../lib/auto/Tk/ tkpBind.o tkpButton.o tkpCanvas.o tkpCmds.o tkpConfig.o tkpEntry.o tkpFocus.o tkpFrame.o tkpGrab.o tkpIo.o tkpListbox.o tkpMenu.o tkpMenubutton.o tkpMessage.o tkpScale.o tkpScrollbar.o tkpUvars.o tkpWindow.o tkperl.o util.o tkpXsubs.o tkpSend.o -L/home/hydra/gclib/lib -L/usr/local/lib -L/usr/lib/X11 -ltk -ltcl -lX11 -lm
ld: Undefined symbol

etc., etc.  Here's myconfig's output:

Summary of my perl5 (patchlevel 0) configuration:
    osname=sunos, osver=4.1.3, archname=sun4-sunos
    uname='sunos conus 4.1.3 5 sun4c '
    cc='cc', optimize='-O'
    ccflags =''
    ldflags =''
    stdchar='unsigned char', d_stdstdio=define, usevfork=true
    voidflags=15, castflags=0, d_casti32=define, d_castneg=define
    intsize=4, alignbytes=8, usemymalloc=y, randbits=31
    libpth=/lib /usr/lib /usr/ucblib /usr/local/lib
    libs=-lnsl -ldbm -ldl -lm -lc -lposix
  Dynamic Linking:
    dlsrc=dl_dlopen.xs, dlext=so, d_dlsymun=undef
    cccdlflags='-pic', ccdlflags='', lddlflags=''

I'm on the most ordinary system there is, yet Tkperl won't build
and the groups test fails (using cc or gcc).

Please help.
