 Fortran on AIX, Tape access

Hello,

I need some suggestions how to access a tape by fortran on an IBM AIX.
It's a Fujitsu M2488 (IBM 3490 compatible) and I should have access to it via /dev/rmt2
(and /dev/rmt2.*).

Thanks
