Data structures and porting from VAX to LINUX

I've a problem porting a source code written in VAX fortran
into Fortran for linux g77. The problem is the following:
original source code uses data structures and data structures
are not supported by g77.
Is there a way to solve this problem ??
Should I change my compiler ??
Is there a free Fortran compiler for Linux that support VAX
extensions ??

Thanks a lot !!!

Yes, Intel Fortran for Linux supports VAX STRUCTUREs and is free for
non-commercial use - assuming you are using an IA-32 processor. (You could be
running Linux on a Sun SPARC or Compaq Alpha and using g77 - you didn't say.)
