Write to stderr: How? (Sun f77 compiler)

 Write to stderr: How? (Sun f77 compiler)

How can I send an error message to standard error? Is there a unit
number assigned to it? I'm using the Sun fortran compiler on SunOS
4.1.3. Any friendly advice much appreciated.

         end
