Must have knowledge, experience and skills:
1.  Knowledge of the capabilities and limitations of computer operating systems;
2.  Knowledge of programming techniques;
3.  An understanding of on-line and batch systems and processes preferred;
4.  Knowledge of COBOL, Assember, MVS mainframe batch and online
application development;
5.  Knowledge of System Development Methodologies (SDM);
6.  Four to five years' programming and analysis experience involving the
design, develpoment, and implementation of complex applications;
7.  Experience dealing with management teams that service external customers;
8.  Previous management or supervisory experience required;
9.  Management and organizational skills relevant to people and projects;
10.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills; and
11.  Problem solving skills.

Job Duties:
1.  Plan, staff, direct and manage a tehcnical team which is involved in
application develpoment and maintenance in a MVS/COBOL/CICS environment;
2.  Coordinate and communicate with Client Services, the customer staff,
Computer Operations, and other programming managers regarding product
direction, project requirements, system modifications, system performance,
schedules, status, etc;
3.  Estimate, schedule and manage projects to ensure quality
implementations; and
4.  Make work assignments and provide technical and procedural direction
to subordinates regarding the enhancement, development and support of
complex application systems.
