Must have knowledge, experience and skills:
1.  BAL programming skills required;
2.  A minimum of an Associates Degree or Certificate in COBOL programming
or equivalent experience is preferred;
3.  Familiar with structured programming techniques and IBM file formats;
4.  Working knowledge of OS/JCL, ROSCOE, and other IBM utilities and their
features;
5.  Minimum one year experience in BAL;
6.  Previous education/experience in accessing methods, unit test and tools;
7.  Able to learn new technical programming concepts quickly; and
8.  Strong desire to gain knowledge of computer technology.

Job Duties:
1.  Read and interpret detailed design documents with supervision;
2.  Write BAL online programs per design specifications;
3.  Develop and/or jodify JCL;
4.  Test and verify processing results;
5.  Debug program, JCL and application problems;
6.  Coordinate project activities to meet client services schedule; and
7.  Manage multiple programming tasks concurrently.
