 DISPLAY statement and screen displays

I need some help.  I am writing a COBOL program which utilizes a
menu routine.  My compiler is CA REALIA II COBOL v1.1.25 and I am trying to
get screen displays such as BLINKING, REVERSE VIDEO, UNDERLINE to work with
no ado.  I even had to create my own clear screen routine using two nested
loops as I cannot get that to work either.

        My format is:
                        DISPLAY XX-XX-XX line 1, column 1, blinking.
                                                        doesn't like this!

Please, use e-mail to reply to me as I would like to get a response ASAP.
