 pointer to pointer problem

i have problem with the pointer to pointer could anyone pleased helped.
In fact, i have a function : ap_cut_obj(ids,pts,id1,id2)
where **id1, **id2, pts[3], *ids

how do you pass id1 and id2 from one function to another.

They do have types, too, don't they?

If you have a pointer to a pointer, and a function expects a
pointer to a pointer, just pass it on. If you have an array
of pointers, and the funtions expects a pointer to a pointer,
pass the array.
