 Calling a COM object from a C dll

I am currently working on a project that requires me to call methods within
a COM object from a C dll.  I have looked on the web, in newsgroups and in
some books, but I have been able to find any good examples.  Does someone
out there have an example that they are willing to share or know where I can
go to get a good example program?
