[lots of boring stuff deleted]

Why the hell do you post this on comp.lang.c?  No COBOL gurus here, or
at least they wouldn't admit :-)

COBOL 101 Help

Can any COBOL gurus give me a hand (some code) with this problem from my
COBOL 101 class?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am using the ACUCOBOL compiler.

This problem is for a trucker.

INPUT: See Record Layout B (below)

PROCESSING:
1.      Calculate the mileage amount based on 20 cents a mile.
2.      Each truck gets the mileage amount or a flat \$150.00 if the mileage
amount is less than \$150.00.
3.      If the miles exceed 2,500 the rate is 14 cents a mile for all miles
over 2,500.
4.      The truck also gets \$20.00 per day for subsistence.
5.      Keep a running total for the total mileage amount.
6.      Keep track of total miles.
7.      Keep track total subsistence.

OUTPUT:
1.      Print a program title.
2.      Print column heading for:
Truck Number
Miles Traveled
Mileage Amount
Subsistence Amount
Total Due Trucker

3.      Print each record and appropriate output.
4.      After the last record is printed, print the total miles, total mileage,
and total subsistence amount under proper columns and with some type of
message.
5.      Pseudocode.
6.      Printer spacing, layout.

Record Layout B

Miles
Truck #                                          Logged
Days
1 2 3 4 5........6 7 8
9.................................24.....27.................................
.........36.37....

Again, any response will be appreciated.

eh? Try posting to the right newsgroup. I see that you've cross-posted to
comp.lang.c (where I got this from =), which is about another programming
language.
