MSVC 4.0 is 50% slower!

Bob Webst #1 / 3	MSVC 4.0 is 50% slower! I've found Microsoft Visual C++ version 4 to be slow -- 50-60% slower than version 3. Has anybody else seen this? Are there some new performance-sensitive considerations on 4.0? Or is it the new MFC?
