Is this familiar to anyone?  

libc internal error: _rmutex_unlock: rmutex not held.

I get this after executing my compiled .c program on Solaris 2.6

_rmutex_unlock (whatever that might be) is definitely not a feature of
the C programming language (the topic of this newsgroup).

And the idea that a Solaris newsgroup is the right place for such a
question was too subtle for you ;-)
