Screen copied text onto command line means nothing

I wrote a small TSR as described in the following
;This program DOSCSR is a small TSR with no fancy features yet. Once you
;install, you can press ScrollLock key to enable DOS system level (where
;you see DOS prompt) text copy. The copied text shows at the current DOS
;prompt as if you're using a UNIX workstation. A mouse driver has to be
;installed before use. Unfortunately even if the copied text is DIR, e.g.,
;pressing return does not show the directory; it simply ignores what the
;copied text means. I'm working on it right now.
You use the mouse to copy any text currently on screen, e.g., "qqqqqq".
After you press return, it doesn't say "Bad command or file name". Instead
it simply ignores it. Can anybody explain? Please go to
http://www.*-*-*.com/ ~y0h8797/doscsr to see what I mean.

you probably send the text directly to the screenbuffer.
dos does not look there (not a bug :). try sending youre data
to the textbuffer, that should work...

there is a program available on the net called pcmouse.
I don't remember who made it but i works really great.
just like gpm for linux.

have fun, Joost
