 Need VHDL to Verilog Translator

Oct 16, 1995

Can someone tell me where to get a VHDL to Verilog translator? We have a
major design done in VHDL, but the synthesizer we are planning to use
turns out to only accept Verilog input. Thus, we would like to
automatically convert our VHDL design to Verilog, if possible.

Also, are there tools that convert synthesis libraries into different
formats?

Try the XTek VHDL-to-Verilog translator, which is currently
available at

ftp.xtek.com /pub/vendor/xtek/xhdl2.0

The usual platforms are supported.

Not sure what you mean by different formats (HDLs, netlists ???), but my
guess is probably not, when you consider that synthesis libraries are usually
vendor/foundry 'owned'.
