Question about LRM: indexed name, attrib_name

I appreciate your help:

indexed_name can potentially be : prefix(expr)

Can this prefix be an attribute_name?

If yes, then if I have:

prefix'simple_name(expr)

How do I know if this is an

   indexed_name  consisting of "attrib_name(expr)"

or if this is just an attribute name with the optional (expr) at the
end?

Thanks.

Si
