Primitives and structural level modeling qn!

if i use a primitive in a structural model, will it produce same results as
when i write a structural model?

does anyone have a behavioural model for this?

i wrote the code for an LSFR (simple model with primitives)and works fine
but as soon as output goes to
1; it stays at 1 always--- any possible suggestions for this?
