A truly random $random??

 A truly random $random??

I am in need of a truly random $random function. I see that $random is
is not. Anyone come up with a way to get around this without having to
write a PLI based routine?

Thanks.

 A truly random $random??
What is truly random is a philosophical question.  Even random
number generating machines depend on imperfect physical theory.
Pragmatic C's Pver Verilog simulator uses the good BSD random number
generator (has better spectral properties).  However because
there is no way to specify a 16 or 128 word table for seeds using
the standard $random interface it is not as good as it could be.
