Video ASIC Designer at Silicon Graphics, Mountain View, CA

Silicon Graphics has an opening in its Advanced Graphics Division for
a Senior ASIC Design Engineer to play a leading role in the design of
its next generation digital media product. Responsibilities include
logic design, timing analysis, and asynchronous boundary design and
testing using Verilog and Synopsys design tools. Full project life
cycle involvement, from design through production.

This position requires an MSEE/BSEE or equivalent, plus 5 or more
years in the design of complex ASICS using Verilog and Synopsys.
Experience in the design of large, complex projects over 100K gates
is highly desirable, as is a background in digital media, audio/video,
compression/decompression, or real-time embedded microprocessors.
This position is ideal for a person with experience in a small team
designing a big product.
