 problems with $incpattern_write/$incpattern_read/$strobe_compare

Hi,

I'm capturing stimulus during simulation with $incpattern_write.
Then I replay the captured stimulus against the model using
$incpattern_read and compare model outputs using $strobe_compare.
I'm getting really strange delay values during the replay/compare
phase both internal to the model and at the replay/compare environmant
level.

Anybody used this flow and seen wierd results?

We also had some problems with $inspattern* tasks at first.
I'd like to advice you to check the next delicate things:

1. you use the same timescale for $incpattern_read in your model as
during $incpattern_write.
2. you read patterns in the same simulation time as for writing:
   For example, if you have got:  
        initial
               $incpattern_write(...);

  You must have while reading:
       initial
               $incpattern_read(...);   // without any delay.

NOTE 1.
  If you call $incpattern_read with any delay, all the patterns will
be delayed for this time. From the other point of view this allows you
to move all patterns against other signals for any purposes.

NOTE 2.
 Incremental pattern file is writed with current time precision value
steps. If you reading that file into model with other time precision
value you'll get  patterns in new steps (scaled).
