 Help STk on FreeBSD 3.3 stable

I made STk from /usr/ports  with make and make install no special command line.
All of the demo programs in /usr/local/lib/stk/3.1.1/demos that end in stk work
fine and all of the programs that end in stklos die with the following error:

*** Error at line 25 of file /usr/local/lib/stk/3.1.1/STk/hash.stk:
Cannot open object file: \
"/usr/local/lib/stk/3.1.1/FreeBSD-3.3-STABLE-i386/hash.so"

But the file exists and is world readable:
$ ls -l /usr/local/lib/stk/3.1.1/FreeBSD-3.3-STABLE-i386/
total 792
-rwxr-xr-x  1 root  wheel   10171 Nov 12 23:41 hash.so
-rwxr-xr-x  1 root  wheel    7580 Nov 12 23:41 html.so
-rwxr-xr-x  1 root  wheel   13038 Nov 12 23:41 pixmap.so
-rwxr-xr-x  1 root  wheel   10685 Nov 12 23:41 posix.so
-rwxr-xr-x  1 root  wheel   12702 Nov 12 23:41 process.so

-rwxr-xr-x  1 root  wheel   12076 Nov 12 23:41 socket.so
-rwxr-xr-x  1 root  wheel    4501 Nov 12 23:41 sregexp.so
-rwxr-xr-x  1 root  wheel  566184 Nov 12 23:41 stk

I also tried setting LD_LIBARY_PATH and it did not work:
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/local/lib/stk/3.1.1/FreeBSD-3.3-STABLE-i386

I tried ldconfig -m with the dir where the files are, as root:
# ldconfig -m /usr/local/lib/stk/3.1.1/FreeBSD-3.3-STABLE-i386

I looked through /usr/local/lib/stk/3.1.1/STk/STk.init and did not
see anything that looked important and I did not edit the file.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Marc

It means that there are problems with dynamic loading on this
particular architecture (of which I was unaware). You can try to
reconfigure and recompile your system (pass the option
--disable-dynload. This should work.

But, 3.1.1 is a very old version, perhaps you should have a look at
the 4.0.1 version which is available form http://kaolin.unice.fr/STk.

Anyway, I would be interested if you can send me the output of the
following command "strace stk -l hash.so" since I cannot have not
access to a FreeBSD box.

Thanks
