How do type system in scheme affect the representation of basic types
such as integers, characters & float point numbers ?

   How do type system in scheme affect the representation of basic types
   such as integers, characters & float point numbers ?

This is probably a much tougher question than you realize. Given the
raging discussion about types in comp.lang.scheme, you would first
need to define what the type system of Scheme is, if it indeed has
any.

As to the other questions you have presented, it would probably pay to
look into the language definition, available among other places at the
