 JRuby 1.6/0.5.0 beta

Hi all!

JRuby ( http://www.*-*-*.com/ ) is a pure Java implementation of the Ruby interpreter, being developed
by Jan Arne Petersen and others.

JRuby is free software released under the GNU General Public License.

JRuby is tightly integrated with Java to allow both to script any Java class and to embed the
interpreter into any Java application.

After three months of work a new JRuby release is avaiable at
http://www.*-*-*.com/

Changes:

    * Improved parser and lexer. New evaluator.
    * Improved support for builtin classes (Marhsal, pack, unpack, rand, srand, |, ^, `, each_byte,
to_f, each_value, each_key, proc, sort, invert, join, dirname). * RegexpAdapter is selected
      automatically.
    * Improved Java support (automatically convert numeric types). Use always the real Java class
and not the declared type. * A lot of Bugfixes.

Regards
        Jan Arne Petersen
